Our very first Sunday episode of Matt Daddy

When it comes to evaluating and seeing where we are at so far in our podcasting journey, both Daddy and I felt that something was missing from our repetoire so to speak and that would happen to be an episode on a Sunday. We have not done any other episode on a Sunday, which is crazy to think about, but it is true and this one will be the first and we really wanted to make it the first and to be honest, we could not have come up with better topics to discuss for our very first Sunday episode considering the fact that the all star break is here and it could make it just as good a time as any to share our thoughts on some things and also to be able to get some points across as well about some of this stuff that seems to really catch our eye and our attention to the point where we just have to come on here and talk. So, what did we talk about? Well, we had all star Saturday night, which is always fun and a good time, and we also go back to school for a bit, which is not fun, so that we can hand out first half grades to all the Knicks from top to bottom, so there you have it on our first Sunday episode of Matt Daddy. Mad Daddy Part 2- A Nice Little Rant

Back to back episodes here of the Matt Daddy Sports Podcast, which is usually something we do not do often here on this show as this was in fact our very first time that we did episodes on consecutive days as we did one on Monday and now right back here on Tuesday just a day later for this one. I have to say that we are not too sure exactly how we would potentially go about this or even how much or how often we will do this on back to back days like this, but for this time around at least, we felt that it was necessary and it really made sense for us to jump right back on the air here and do another episode so that we could get something off of our chest that has been bothering us for quite some time now, particularly Daddy, but me to an extent also and now we get to rant about it for a bit. Therefore, with all that being said, enjoy our rant here about the officiating and how bad it is in all of sports, but especially basketball right now at the moment. This is all that we got for this one here and I do also want to mention the fact that this is not the first time that we have discussed this subject matter and most likely for sure will not be the last time that we discuss this again on here just simply because it seems to be a pretty big issue and it is not going to go away until something is done about it to fix it. Expect us to revisit this at some point whether we have to or we need to, so stay tuned and keep an eye out for that just in case. 

Super Bowl Recap and some Knicks chatter

We break down everything a day later on this Monday evening episode of Matt Daddy Super Bowl Sunday and all of the action that went down and took place overall on the biggest sports day of the year ranging from of course the actual game itself to all of the commercials and advertisements shown throughout the course of the game to all of the celebrities in attendance to the halftime show and performance along with so much more that goes into this event to make it special each and every single year even though it is just one day and one game at the end of the day. But, nevertheless, we discuss our thoughts and feelings on the evening as a whole and throw in some Knicks as well as they get set to hit the all star break and with all the injuries right now, they need it to rest and get healthy so that once play resumes in the second half of the season, they can hopefully make a run and try to make some noise, so we will see. 

Keeping it light for tonight-NBA trade deadline special and Super Bowl predictions

We kept it kind of light here on this Thursday evening episode of Matt Daddy as we simply break down and recap all of the trades and deals that took place and went down just a little bit earlier in the day at the NBA trade deadline, which is always one of the best and most entertaining deadlines in all of sports just due to the simple fact that each year around this time, there are always a solid number of deals and trades that occur as teams look to make a run in the second half of the season and it happened again this year as a number of players were on the move before 3 pm, including some players involving our beloved Knicks, which we will get to no doubt along with all of the other deals as well, but this one looks good and we could not be more excited. Trade deadline special so to speak and of course, our predictions for the Super Bowl this weekend to wrap it up for tonight, so those are our two main topics of discussion for this episode. Pro bowl games, Knicks, Bobby Witt Jr.

We discuss a few topics here as we give our final thoughts on the rest of the pro bowl games that took place on Sunday while Daddy was away, but he was able to get a hold of them when he got back and I watched them in full while fast forwarding through the commercials since Daddy had them on tape while away, but we got through it and give our final thoughts on the evening and the events overall and what we would do to possibly improve the festivities as a whole and what we would change to make it better perhaps. There might be some that like it the way it is, but maybe there are also some that do not like it the way it is and will hear us out for a bit on that. Once again, it is just our opinion. That is all it is on here. Also, we talk some Knicks and Bobby Witt Jr. as he lands a new big deal, which he deserves as one of the best there is in the game of baseball today, so congrats to him on that for sure. 

Matt Daddy on a Saturday

Simply just another one of those times and episodes here at the Matt Daddy Sports Podcast where we like to go with the flow so to speak and say what is on our minds and give our opinions on some of the hottest topics and most recent news in the sports world since this is exactly what this show is all about just like Daddy has said on a number of different occasions on the show so far since we started, including this one actually if I am not mistaken towards the middle of the episode. Anyway, Saturday edition here where we happen to discuss a number of subjects that range from Joe Rogan to Joe Girardi to Knicks to refs to all stars, and to the pro bowl games. Hopefully, I did not leave anything out, but go ahead and give it a listen anyway. Thanks so much. 

Super Bowl is set-championship weekend recap and Knicks talk of course

Just a couple of things for this episode here tonight as we recap the championship games from over the weekend and now the super bowl matchup is set, but we will wait a bit for that and will likely dedicate a whole episode to break down the game soon as it gets a little closer and we will each give our prediction for who brings it home this year, so that is coming up, but again for now, a recap of the games and the action from this past weekend will suffice along with a bit on the Knicks who are going to have to hold down the fort until Randle gets back, which we are sure they are going to do considering how well they have been playing lately and there is no question that it will have to continue so that when everyone gets back and are fully healthy, we can make a run at this thing. Go Knicks. 

Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

We are back for another episode here on this Thursday evening to break down and discuss some things, so lets get to it and I will say this time around what we had talked about since I did not do that for the last couple as I really wanted to surprise everyone and have them all see and listen every once in a while for themselves, but I will go back to saying ahead of time in the description box here for this episode what our topics were as we had some good ones. So, we broke down the inductees into the baseball hall of fame for this year as they all earned and deserved a spot among all the other elites in the game of baseball, we also went ahead and gave our predictions for championship weekend with the final four as we say who we think is going to super bowl 58 in a couple of weeks along with some teams figuring out their coaching situation and how they want to move forward by hiring their next head coach to fill the vacancy there and much much more on this edition of Matt Daddy, so come and join us.
