A few things here to discuss as Ohtani cashes in big time, a lot of teams are in the mix for the playoffs in football as the season is winding down, so we discuss scenarios and who is in, out, and still fighting for spots here down the stretch, and some Knicks talk like always that never tends to escape us here at Matt Daddy. 

No fear-Soto is here

With the news of Juan Soto becoming a Yankee, we share our thoughts on that and break down the trade overall with the players that were involved and what it means moving forward, but as of right now, we will stay in the moment and talk about how excited we truly are as fans and what we could be in store for this season. Along with that, we talk Knicks. 

College football, in season tournament, power rankings

As a college football fan and expert, Daddy starts off the cast with his take on the college football playoffs and the system that is in place for it and whether or not it is good or bad and needs changes along with more about the in season tournament in basketball and how we see it, some power rankings in football and football chatter overall, and more. 

Post Thanksgiving episode

Since this is our first episode back from the Thanksgiving holiday, Daddy and I did not have a set topic really to discuss, but we did talk about a number of topics and I will not lie; sometimes I like to do this thing where I do not say what we talked about as I want it to be a surprise. I like to refer to those as mystery episodes that we have done a couple of times already here at Matt Daddy, particularly earlier on when we were just getting started and this is one of those again. Therefore, I will not say and those will have to tune in to find out what we did for our episode post Thanksgiving. Thanks so much. 

Football/Knicks Talk- Happy Thanksgiving to all

We kick off the holiday season with football and Knicks talk, so not a lot here for this one, but still check it out and happy Thanksgiving and holidays to everyone. 

MLB Awards and Knicks

Not a whole lot for this one as we recap the MLB Awards and give our take on the MVP and Cy Young award winners along with some Knicks talk again. 

What did you just say?

As Yankee fans, we were not too happy to hear what Cashman had to say about Stanton. Even though he was not really wrong in his opinion since Stanton is injury prone and does miss a lot of games, it simply just is not something you can say out loud like that, so we break that down along with some Knicks and football talk of course, so check it out. 

Under the weather-Saturday edition

Daddy was a little under the weather for this episode and we did it on a Saturday of all times, which is something that we do not do that often, but we were in the mood for one and it came out great and went well. Check it out.

We just simply recap week 9 and talk some Knicks again, so for this episode, there is nothing really major or crazy.

For this episode, there was a whole lot for us to discuss ranging from the Knicks early on in the season, the world series now that it is over, preview of some of the big games in the NFL this week as the season rolls on, and now that we have reached the offseason in baseball, what will happen this winter with Ohtani and the Yankees?
